Event Description
Come join the 42nd to share and learn costuming skills or just to dress up and hang out. Go here to let us know of anything specific you would like on the agenda. Some possibilities are: Sewing, Leather Working, Prop Building, Swap Meet, Soldering/Electronics and Polymer Clay. We plan to discuss future meetings and events from 2:00 to 2:30 with a group photo at 2:30. Let us know what you want and we will do what we can to deliver. The cost is free, but there will be a "kitty" to help cover the cost of the room.

How to Get There
Follow link to more info.
Exit Spur 5 South.
Turn right on University Drive (first traffic light).
Continue going straight at the stop light on Calhoun.
The UH Visitor Information Booth is on the left.
The University Center is the first building on the right.No permit needed for the surface lot South of the UC.
Make your way into the UC & take the stairs up to 2nd Floor.
The Rodeo Room is two doors to the left of the big picture of Walt Disney and Friends.

I found a map to the college,after exiting the freeway turn right on University Drive. Could you give directions to the University Center from that point and to the Rodeo Room.... Thank you kindly.

Would love to attend, unfortunately I work retail and that includes every Saturday. Possibly can attend Sat meets in the future if I can get work covered and no one is on holiday that week.

Sounds like a fun event/meeting. I can try out my new garb (do we call it garb in SP world? da know...) I live in Dallas now but lived in Houston for 16 years about 18 years ago.... I would like to make stuff on site. I'm not good with do that at home by my onesie so help is welcome... If not I end of spending too much on online purchases... lol See you in a couple weekends....
