Once again, we will be meeting upstairs at Arnold's in a more casual atmosphere than in times past. While food and drink are readily available please do not feel obligated to order anything. This is a gathering, not a dinner party.

One main topic for conversation will be people's reactions to the Old West Festival and what we might be able to do in cooperation with next year's Steampunk Weekend; assuming that there will be a repeat event.

Another topic would be to plan and plot the Ren Fair Invasion; this seems to be a popular steampunk sport all across North America.

I enjoyed meeting everyone, this past Friday evening. I will not be able to attend October's salon. My brother's wedding is that evening.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please note that the day of the October Salon is a Saturday rather than a Friday. It was decided at the September Salon that we should experiment with alternating between the first Friday and the first Saturday of the month. I do hope that this twenty four hour time rift does not cause any inconvenience.
