I would like to thank everyone who attended the Pittsburgh Steam Punk Social at the Beehive! I very much enjoyed meeting all of you and our many varied conversations! Below is a synopsis of our meeting, conversations, and feedback.

We had between 15-20 people attend

We had in attendance; Makers, Artists, Adventurers, Naturalists, Scientific Illustrators, Event Promoters, Tea Shop Owners, Professional Prop/Set Designers, Tinkerers, Heroes, Big Game Hunters, Military Wo/Men, Conmen, Westerner, Librarian, and an Arab!

Suggestions for future events; Musical/ Entertainment events, Show & Tell, Costuming Days, Tea, Projects, Exchange Information, Hat/Fascinator Workshop, Goggle Workshop, Making Spats, Make a Reticule, Handwriting class, Calling Card Workshop, Parlor Games, Mummy Unwrapping, Gamming Night, Dinner Party, Projectile Gun Duels, Croquet League,

Upcoming Steamy Events;

Sept 18th Steel City team Society presents Steel and Steam Night at Howlers Cafe in Bloomfield ( Contact Alexa Black for more information)
Oct 9th Victorian Seance Show and Tea at the Purple Rose Tea Room in Lawrenceville (Contact Rev. Styles for more information)
Oct 15th The Art of Horror V - Theme is Steampunk - Butler Art Center
Jan 28th Ohayocon - Columbus OH - Anime Con theme is Steampunk this year

October - Christine Hutson - Calling Card and Calligraphic Workshop

Regarding our first Pittsburgh Steampunk Social at the Beehive, we are expecting upwards of 20 or so attendees, RSVP's coming in from here and Facebook. We should have a diverse turn out, and plenty of people for mingling! I am very excited about tonight!! Thank you all for your kind participation!
