Come join me to watch, marvel, photo and be photo-ed at the wonderfully creative Parade the Circle event at University Circle in Cleveland. Local groups of artists, musicians, dancers and just lovers of good art and a good time create fantastic costumes and small floats mostly from found objects. The riot of colors, sounds and imagination is enough without the demos, food and music. (See my photo album from this event in 2011)
Last year we just went and watched and I wold be surprised if less than 75 people took our picture. The park and pool in back of the museum is a great photo site too.
The parade starts at 11am so meet me in front of the Cleveland Museum of Art near the angluar metal lawn sculpture about 1030am. Note: the pond side is actually the "back" of the museum, the front of the museum faces the circle.
It should be nice and warm so consider that when you dress and bring water and plenty of batteries or film.
Depending on how long we stay, a get together for a shandy and a bite afterwards is NEVER out of the question.
If you would like to meet at my location (I live less than a mile from this event) and arrange going together I can park in a parking garage VERY convenient to the site for free. Message me privately about that.
I WILL be there, come and join me, the more the merrier!
