Spoken word, song, stunning visuals and soaring music come together in a ground-breaking Lit'n'Roll show.

Isambard Kerne, an Edwardian aviator is transported into another world - a  land of shadows, monsters and wonders - where he is tested to his limit. With the help of a mysterious feathered guide, Merlin, Kerne must embark upon the
Way of the Windsmith - mastering the Four Winds - if he is to find his way home and help defeat the deadliest of enemies - Aveldra, the ultimate femme fatale - in a battle between the lost of history for the fate of worlds.

Be taken to another world!

Song of the Windsmith is  based  upon  the  five-volume  Steampunk epic by Stroud-based author, Kevan Manwaring. It has been created  in  collaboration  with  Bristol-based  musician  James Hollingsworth. Images are provided by Cornwall-based artist Jonathan Hayter.

 

This event celebrates the launch of the final volume of The Windsmith Elegy: This Fearful Tempest by Kevan Manwaring. The author will be introducing the event and the company will be answering questions afterwards. Books and CDs will be for sale. Refreshments provided by the fabulous Star Anise Cafe.
