For an unprecedented opportunity has arisen where Steampunks can interact with many of the artefacts, some of which will be brought out of storage for the first time this year) and thundering steam-powered juggernauts on display at MOTAT 2's Rail Section during their running day
The Royal Dirigible Corps NZ will also be on site to ensure one's safety and that her Majesty's peace is upheld,
So come ride the trains, and enjoy the views.
Gather one's crew and take one of the hand jiggers for a ride along proper working tracks.
Bring one's camera for those once in a life time steam punk photo opportunities with actual running steam engines and artefacts, actually be seen in command of tons of steam breathing machinery.
Observe and ride in the new military mechanical contrivances of Her Majesty's forces in operations as one travels between stations.
Bring a kite to fly, a picnic lunch (BBQ's provided) or even take part in a game of cricket on the greens, whilst the good citizens of this great crown colony enjoy a picnic as the trains roll past, just as they do in Mother England's green and pleasant land.
