Imbibers, gawkers, steampunks, makers, and common bystanders of all stripes are welcome, provided they are at least 21 years of age. Cash bar. Victorian costumes are encouraged. RSVP on Facebook http://on.fb.me/saloonsf or firstname.lastname@example.org. Spread the word!
Media Historian Jillian Lerner will be on site to sign copies of her graphic novel The Peerless Prodigies of P.T. Barnum. Proceeds from The Touring Pop-up Sideshow Saloon will be donated to Reading With Pictures, a stellar not-for-profit organization that gets comics into schools and schools into comics.
