Sorry Friends! I will no longer be attending. :( Work has come in the way.

I'll try giving her another call today, if you don't hear from me by Thursday evening, then I will have sadly failed you, sir.

Yes, meet-up. Yes, room party. Well, sort of. I certainly want to meet up with some people, even if it's just hanging around in a room or in the lobby and talking. All it takes is someone to choose a hole in their schedule and post a few pieces of paper in the hallways inviting people to their room.I may do it myself at some point if nothing more organized turns up.

Kapitan. . . Do you still have the roommate for me? One way or another I'd like to know before setting out on Friday. If not, I might just solicit for a roommate with flyers in the hallway.

The Ladies of the S.M.S. Zepherus shall be having auditions for their next cabin boy at 4:30pm on Saturday in the hotel Lobby. Be prepared to strut your stuff or watch a little good-humored humiliation.

The other path would be to take a look at the schedule (huzzah! it's there!!!) and pick a time when there is an empty room on the schedule and not too many competing activities, and get permission to use that room.

Or we all decide to show up at the tea room or lobby at x-o'clock.

We were considering having a room party- but sadly suites were far too expensive for us all, so there's no room to have people over.

Perhaps we should arrange a meetup of the Steampunk Empire members, and/or mark our badges? I suppose if someone is already printing up some badge ribbons...?

Or maybe someone wants to through a room party !!!

(I'm just day-tripping- but possibly all 4 days)

I have reserved a room for the weekend but am traveling by myself. That means my room has an empty bed available to defray costs. I would be willing to share that space with a non-smoking, non-snoring roommate.

Looking forward to it. I like the new website, but I'm hoping to see a schedule so I can make my nefarious plans...
