Getting Together On Our Projects.
Okay, we all have our projects. I'm trying to produce a screenplay. Another person wants to draw comics, others are promoting their crafts, and we all need to get the word out. The question is how do we do that. Money is tight, and it's hard to promote yourself without occassionally coming across as an egomaniac. So how about this, maybe the Empire needs something like a project board, where interested people can check out each others projects, and give support (even if it's only moral support) so we don't tie up the forums, and maybe get something off the ground. What do you all think?

I think this is brilliant, especially since looking for interested people was part of my arriving here. I don't want to post somewhere where it's inappropriate to post my project because I try to take into account that there is usually some kind of societal nicety to avoiding p****** off moderators and forum dwellers.

Yeah, and in a group of people who pride themselves in being creative we need something to sound ideas off each other.

Would it be appropriate to list projects in the Artists Forum?
as far as I can tell, you'd be welcome to do so. Just start a thread for your project there.

Might I suggest the forum for writing and such similar projects. Here is the link, and might I also suggest you post that link in your header above and then see if there is some thread in that section which would meet your needs. I have been a member here since there was only 2000 or so of us and the Empire has grown substantially since then. One never knows who might be thinking what you are thinking or might have already thunked it and started there own thread and such.
