Network Chat Beta Update : Pop-out!

Hello all,

Another beta release of network chat has been released.  Now you can use chat in it's own pop out window.  To do this click on the 2 squares on the chat window.

Some people have expressed that they do not wish to see chat.  If you do not wish see the feature, feel free to disconnect from it.  To do so click on the gear icon on the chat bar and de-select the Connect to chat option.  

The option should be sticky meaning that it should not make the connection every time you visit the site.  If this is not the case for you please let me know.

Some of you have been asking why your posts are deleted in chat beta and why messages are mysteriously being removed.  One of the issue with beta chat is that it gets awful slow when it is full of messages.  Since we want chat to be somewhat useful, we try to clear out the message at least once a day.  If you see your messages being deleted, don't fret we are just making room for more messages.  

As with any beta trial, there will be some issues, problems we will encounter. I would much appreciate it if you let me know so we can address them in a future release.
