Sit back, relax, and enjoy your inner steamer

I just wanted to add a comment to note some of the random discussions that I have seen on this board.

Instead of picking apart such a beautiful elegant genre that for some has become a way of life, why not enjoy it. Why dissect the last unicorn in a world of plastic stamped generalization.

When I first became aware of Steampunk I saw something I could dive into and finally use my imagination towards. It wasn't about being an elitist, it was about evolving a literary ideal and making it into a reality. I didn't see it as something I could analyze and classify, it was an accumulation of all my interest.

To keep this short enjoy the movement, if it fades then let it live on in your own little world. I choose not to offend anyone, just to put some at ease. And of course not to generalize all users and fellow steamers.
