The Steampunk Empire

The Crossroads of the Aether

Simmering around in my brainpan was the idea for a descriptive place for all to show their steampunk solutions to the summer climate that may surround them. In the environs of Cincinnati, particularly in July and August, (dog days wot!), the mercury regularly rises into the 90's with high humidity contributing to conditions that give further association to the word steamy. Additionally inspired by Jenesse Wannall's own summer cast on her page-

I decided to place a call out to others who despite the higher heat continue to fashionably flourish. So it is hoped that here your individual, or ensembled, summer wear may be shown and related accordingly with written descriptions if desired as to place or purpose.

To begin, a group photograph,(taken by Cincinnati resident Mr. Christopher Breeden), of the tri-state league of Cincinnati Steampunks rallied for our monthly salon. This particular gathering was recorded on August 6th, 2010 in an alley aside the abiding saloon allotted as Arnold’s Bar and Grill. Fortunately for our august assembly the usual summer swelter had somewhat abated so there was no danger of possible prostration and all were able to be stylishly, yet comfortably attired.
These are fantastic! Love the outfits.
Wonderful job there Noah I look forward to such time I can be garbed as you and your friends were.I do hope the tempreture gets more tolerable for you soon tho.

Would that one could be as stylish in Summer - or any other time - as the Cincinnati Steampunks ! Good show .
To those distant in miles or climate, yet close in common curiosities and certain cuts of clothes, (though they may be of many colors and styles),

Thank you for your kind praise put forth round our sundry summer company pictured in the surrounds of Cincinnati. I eagerly await further depictions.
