About the 42nd:

The 42nd was founded in January of 2011 with the goal of providing a common forum for Steampunks in and around the Upper Texas Coast. The 42nd itself does not do business as an entity and is kept as a anarchy (two reasons for this are to avoid liability and discourage internal politics). It depends upon individuals and smaller groups to organize and host events. Please feel free to click the JOIN button above. A D Cruize tries to give one free 42nd ASB patch to each member as he meets them (if you don't have one, look him up at an event and let him know).

Comment by Comicpalooza Steampunk on October 22, 2012 at 11:41am: For those of you who are interested, the the 2013 Steampunk entertainment lineup will be Professor Elemental, Frenchy and the Punk, Marquis of Vaudeville, and Abney Park! There will also be a special promotion happening in the next week or so on the Comicpalooza Facebook page specifically for Steampunk. So keep your eyes on the page to see how to take part in this promotion. So spread this out, let it be known, and let the Steampunk Community rock this upcoming Comicplaooza.

It was very informative, and I would recommend all whom are interested in acquiring experience with having a more in depth panel at conventions to attend the next one that he schedules. Kudos to you sir.

By the way, for my Frankenstein film, I am still looking for another tailor and a DP to be on board. All the cast and crew have been volunteering their time, the goal is to get into as many film competitions as possible--so the work would be seen. If anyone's interested please message me your e-mail.

So far, so good--we've built a great crew. I'm very excited about the project.

We would do a workshop on the Texian Republic, and Western Steampunk. Please let us know.

Comment by A D Cruize on August 26, 2012 at 6:05pm: Who would be interested in attending a Workshop on Panels & Presentations following the Houston Maritime Museum Outing on 15 Sept? It would be at the Museum and start around 4:45 - might go over an hour, depending upon participation. I've been discussing this with Comicpalooza for a while. This venue looks really good for this. It should be over early enough for anyone going to see Beats Antique.
