San Francisco Opera Costume shop tour Sunday May 20th. Anyone interested let me know here what time works best that day. We can meet at my apartment and walk the three blocks up to the shop. I'll post my address for anyone who replies.  Matt

I wanted to let you all know that the Vintage Paper Fair is happening this Saturday and Sunday in Golden Gate Park in the Hall of Flowers on 9th.  It's free entry and a great place to pick up vintage paper goods, photography, postcards, old letters, books you name it.  http://vintagepaperfair.com/sanfran.htm

Thank you, everyone! I, too, had a marvelous time yesterday and very much look forward to next month. I love the idea of meeting on a Saturday and having a field trip to the craft store... just sayin'. :-)

I thoroghly enjoyed the afternoon yesterday. The card I handed out was my business card. I originally joined the empire hoping to get some private work to supplement my income. Now that my partner has passed I just want to make new friends and share all the knowledge I have from my many years of costume experience while I still have breath. Great to meet you all and look forward to having you over next month.

It was great to see everyone today, I know I had a great time.  I updated sfsteampunk.com to have an RSS Feed now.  Also the craft store we were talking about is Stanislaus Imports, 50 13th Street Monday to Friday 12-5 and Sat 10-5

Looking forward to our next outing.

I'm very glad that Cassandra and Raphi were able to make it. I agree, it was great for Shardarko to jump in and get this set-up for us. And it looks like Matthew will be organizing the next one.

The interactions with the actual beings behind the SteamPersonas I thought quite smashing. Huzzah to you who organized this most splendid event.  I look forward to continuing the conversation.  Hmm.  I wonder.  For SF Steampunks, shouldn't the proper venue be somewhere on GEAR-y?
