Greetings everyone! I am your host, Doctor Grymm. I hope that this society will bring our small family closer together and that we may begin to grow and share our creative forces together! If you have an event, or would like to share your interests and work here, please do! I plan to gather as many as possible to have quarterly meet-ups and get togethers.

Suggestions are welcome!

Ciao.

More news...the Steampunk Picnic has been reset to the 6th Sept., to coincide with the Pawtucket Arts Festival at Slater Park.
They are touting a Steampunk/Maker area, and they say they will be putting on a Steampunk Ball that evening...more details to follow.

Very well...organize one!  Actually very simple, pick a date, place, get suggestions, get shot down, choose again etc.

Incidentally, there may be a combined Steampunk/Maker thing and Ball in Pawtucket RI on Sept. 6th, news to follow...if I remember that is!

Not in CT, but there will be the 7th New England Steampunk picnic this Sept. 13th..to be determined whether in Capron Park in Attleboro MA or Slater Park in Pawtucket RI.
I have listed this in the EVENTS section....

I hope those meetups will be posted here.  It was a fun event at Bridgeport.  The venue was fantastic. Check out the photos https://www.facebook.com/steampunkbridgeport

I was there at the event. My husband was one of the knights in the human chess game. I was observing on the sideline.

I've heard there will be two meet-ups coming up in Norwich, CT, one in May and one in June.

I am looking forward to meeting some Brass Mill members at Steampunk Bridgeport.  I should be a great time.  I'm all booked in to Steampunk Worlds Fair.  Got a room at the Holiday Inn and will be there for the whole thing.  Anyone from CT going?

I only just heard of the Bpt event a couple of days ago. I might have to check it out

Hello, I have not noticed there was an event in Bridgeport, until you posted it here. I was going to go to Air City Expedition on that same day, but the convention was devastatingly cancelled. If I'm able to, I may check out this event on that day instead. Thank you.
