Since I live in BC and I travel down to Seattle now and again I would like to take part in the EWS, if that is ok with you folks?

I know I have not been much of a participant of late, but I must also inform everyone that I will be leaving the group as I am no longer in Spokane. I have been drug 200 miles to Tennessee.

Anyone in this group planning to attend Gearcon in Portland next month? I'm going and have room in my car if anyone wants to share a ride down there.

Thank you very much, sir. What a charming place. It reminds me very much of school field trips I took as a child. It is multiple hours away from my current location, but it does seem like a lovely venue for a meetup.

I know I am now several months behind the original poster, but could someone enlighten me regarding the whereabouts of the frontier village mentioned by Sqn. Ldr. William Barr on March the 3rd?  I cannot begin to consider a gathering without having some better idea of the location.

Does anyone plan to attend SpoCon this year?

Well I know. Elizabeth and I are going to Radcon. There's also Kuronekocon that I'm going to, but that's more Anime.

Hey comrades, I'm located in the frigid northern highlands of Okanogan county and know several other steampunks in the area who are looking for opportunities to gather and connect in the eastern part of the state, so is this a good place to find out about those kind of semi-local events?

Ladies, Sir, Seems I found a group around here after all. It is unfortunate with the SpoCon being un the dates that it is I am unable to attend, due to a government contract that I am obligated to fulfill. So, That said anyone that is going to be in Moses Lake from the 13th to the 27th let me know, as I will be at Big Ben.

ona - We've gotta start somewhere, right? A lot of the the folks in Seattle/Bellevue get together every week or so, but I'm just not up for driving over the mountains most weekends...I'm located around Yakima; Spokane & TriCities aren't exactly a short trip, but they're do-able. We need to find out if there's more than half a dozen steampunk enthusiasts over here & maybe try to arrange some fair-weather get togethers (anybody else here hate snot & ice driving). Summertime here the trolleys are running & the Arboretum is nice for photo days.

Mr. Von S...Hello yourself! Not sure how long I've been signed up here, but I only pop in now & then since I do try not to spend too much time online (I do have that whole real-world family that keeps my attention. I've also been working on jewelry during the nicer weather).  Anyway, now that you have an operating auto, we'll have to try to get some meet-up time 'ere Steamcon.  Also if we can get folks to gather here, then maybe we can get an idea out how many drysiders we've got & how close we are to each other.
