So I've been curious for sometime now. After seeing all these amazing creations, I must say I wonder where they constructed all this? Now being a avid crafter myself I have several "work stations"…Continue

I am accepting vendors now for an upcoming makers festival in Simi Valley, Ca. September 13 and November 8. I am looking for all steampunk oriented products, and everything related to compliment the genre. If you are interested in a booth, please email me at [email protected]. I am also looking for a serious, experienced Victoria/steampunk affectionado to help recruit and design the festival to its full theme. There is compensation. Contact me ASAP. Must have steampunk connections in everything steampunk related and be creative. Thank you.

I would just like to state for the record:

The previous posting as well as ALL the copies of it in other groups' pages DOES NOT even come close to representing my current views nor has it for a very long time now. The idea that it does is absurd considering the way I was treated at WTS by its Admin. and this is clearly a lame attempt at dragging my character and the character of this site through the mud. I see no advantage to posting this for whatever cause this was supposed to further. Schemes like this only make you look bad.

I'm sorry to all of the Groups pages that have been polluted with this rubbish, as well as any problems it may cause.

*the only reason this  response has become necessary at all is because someone decided to publicly dredge up old issues and animosities between The Steampunk Empire and WTS which are better left alone for all parties concerned. I sincerely have little to no interest in this issue anymore and have been trying to move on as it really isn't worth my time. I consider this and any further actions like this HARASSMENT pure and simple.

I was asked by my dear friend of mine, asked me to share this:

A lot of my friends from this site have joined the other new SP site, http://www.welcometosteampunk.com/, so have and will continue to spend a lot of time there.

This doesn't mean I'm leaving this site by any means, because for one it is useful to me and not a bad site on the whole. But second and more importantly, there are many people here on this site that i enjoy conversing with and consider doing so time well spent.

So, I encourage you to check out the new site mentioned above and join if you like. It is small right now, but in many ways is freer than The Empire and offers certain things that The Empire does not.

Hope to see all of you soon,

Captain Maximillian Drake,

HMS Wyvern

PS- For those of you airship captains out there, interested in some friendly competition or perhaps honing your skills or both, we have started an airship dueling RP group on the new site.

Greetings to you all! And thanks for letting me join this group :) Look forward to getting to know you....I wonder do any of you in the UK sell your work? I'm helping organise the Steampunk area at Altfest, in August in Northamptonshire...There are stalls still available and more than 10,000 tickets sold...so it could be a great opportunity to show/sell your work. Just let me know if you're interested, and I'll gladly send you details!

Hello all,

I am very happy to join your group. So much to soak up and learn! I work in mixed media to create fun costume and props for fun. I have some years of theatre experience and the Steampunk life style is a good outlet.

Happiness to you all

Doc
