Had a wonderful time with the GNASH group and new friends at HyperiCon this weekend! I am very much looking forward to any and all future cons that I have the privilege of attending. Hope to see you all there!

HyperiCon room party was fantastic! There were some fantastic panels, one of the best was Sara's panel this morning. She has agreed to send me her entire presentation and the wonderful links she had there. I will in turn, post them up here. We had a total of eight GNASH folks there last night to make the party fantastic! Ex Libris and Americus placed in the costume contest. (of course they did!!!) Hopefully I handed out enough cards with information about Steampunk Empire and the GNASH to generate more local interest. Also wanted to pass along from Sara that there is a bar in Nashville that is very Steampunk friendly and themed beautifully for photography. Past Perfect at 123 3rd Ave South here in Nashville. I can't thank the GNASHers, who could be there, enough for their help with the room party and for their awesome company!

Love y'all,

We will unfortunately not be making out to Hypericon this morning. All sitters of the small people are busy, I think they must be plotting against us. :(

Hey sis,

I'm here to pull you hair and put frongs in the mini-fridge on the bridge! Aside from that, your mechanical engineer is here. Still got grease under my fingernails from fixing you Spitfire today! It's a plesure to be here with the rest of the crew and I hope to meet some of them soon at HyperiCon!

The HyperiCon event posting is up and functioning. Please do RSVP. The more local folks and GNASH members the better. We are getting quite a bit of freedom to do events and GNASH promotion at theis event. I'm working on details with organizers. Saturday night there is at the very least a GNASH roomparty perhaps even a more public meet and greet in the hotel's restaurant area. Sunday we participate in a Steampunk costumers fashion show hostessed by local author (and historical costume expert) Sara Harvey. Quite a trick and a sparkling chance at gaining steam for the GNASH and Steampunkery in the Music City!

If there are to be happenings at HyperiCon on Sunday, we most definitely can be in attendance and would love to participate!

After the problems that I caused at the last function I attended, I decided to distance myself from all involved. Now after doing some thinking and soul searching, I am finally prepared to rejoin the crew of the HMRAS 'Melissae'. I have missed all of you and hope all can be forgiven.

I've sent out an e-amil to all members regarding HyperiCon. Please do take time to read and feel free to forward it on to other Steampunk friends who could be interested in attending HyperiCon. Sara Harvey is a featured author for the Con and an organizer for the event. She would love to show off Nashville's Steampunk fantastic citizens and their costume talents and interests. It's a damn fine thing to have a Con contact who likes to promote the genre and who offers us the inside track!

Thanks to all,
