Awwww. Lovely Aelyn, you and that gentleman you hang about with are most excellent! I'm grateful to know that you'll be there! Have no doubt that Doc Q. and the rest of this rowdy lot will likely press you both into service for the greater mission of Celebrations. I haven't forgotten about our hopes of a 'retreat for Eccentric Steampunk Wierdos'. With our superior experience and effort we will eventually make it real! I'm thinking of taking Rob Berbaron up on his offer of assistance as well. It would be wonderful to have a gentleman of his talents in Kentucky to help coordinate with and rally the citizens of the Commonwealth!

We will be at Chattacon, and are definitely in for helping out in whatever way Her Queenie-ness deems necessary. I believe we have discussed my prior event experience, so you know what we are capable of ;)

Trying to work out how to come to the con. New job kind of gets in the way, but hope to see you all soon. I will be glad to help with party preparations if I am needed. :)

I've sent a request to the ChattaCon Registrar requesting information regarding single-day tickets/memberships. As soon as I have a response, I'll post it up here.
Cheers,

Doc Q and the rest of the GNASH gang,

I will be sure to pass along information regarding ChattaCon plans as soon as it is available to me. I don't have a clear idea of how I'm going to afford to do this yet, but I believe we will have a suite or mini suite at ChattaCon and Mr. B and I and perhaps a few others will have a small party there for BRASS, GNASH, TerminuSteam, etc...on Friday night. Saturday night's entertainment 'The Boiler Room Bash' is a planned event for the ConSuite with Con organizer's backing. We will have shows on the stage as well as amazing homebrew and a few tables of lovely hors d'oeuvres for those who wish to partake. As far as GNASH involvement in that event, I'm on point. So far I haven't heard privately from other GNASH members who will definitely be attending ChattaCon and wish to volunteer. I'd love to hear from folks who will be at the Con and would like the inside track on helping out with Friday night or Saturday night's festivities!

Thanks,
~Q

Speaking of Chattacon.... searched the website from one end to the other... cannot find a 1 day ticket... and $80 for Minerva and I is a bit steep for an unplanned event.... however... if the meetup was off-site....

Rob, I'll be sure to remind Queenie as she'll be the main point woman from GNASH for the event.

It's not a bad spot - 3 hours our less to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville and probably Atlanta. Hope you'll both be at Chattacon.

Mikael & I live in limbo land... 1 hour north of Chattanooga, 2.5 hours from Nashville...
