I'm also letting go of this thing (click to enlarge)...Make an offer, I'll be very amenable to "penniless student budgets" if it fits and you care to pick it up and give it a good home. It started life as a costume in a fancy theater in Copenhagen, got modified from its A-shape to something more fitted and worn by yours truly at some rather awesome goth parties in the 1990s to very early 2000s, and has now been awaiting another phase in its "life" for several years. Let's face it: I don't go to goth parties anymore. Oh wait, I live outside Boston... what goth parties... maybe that's why! [exit cynical mode]. Should be a 5'7 tall person, waist about 24"-26", bust about 37-38", hips flexible but at least 36". Huge train. Collar can stand up or lay down. It has been "distressed" with dark shadows at the bottom and on the train as part of its theatrical career, as you can see from the shots. It's heavy.

Because we are moving I am clearing out some old clothes I haven't been wearing lately. It's goth, not much really steampunk, but there's a white cotton skirt with lace and a Tibetan silk shirt with brass buttons (worn once?), in ivory/cream that could work quite well in a pirate style for example. Most of it has been in a box for a year and a half and could do with a "refresh" wash, and is wrinkled from storage, but it's otherwise clean. There are some carefully "damaged" graveyard goth items it took years to get this shredded, be a shame to throw it away ;-) And some hardly ever worn items too (such as a black velvet dress with mandarin type collar and frog closure)  Also a men's Danish navy (army) shirt, blue with shoulder straps. I *may* thrown in a green army jacket as well (not too worn, the one from my punkish years was falling apart but alas it was discarded in an earlier move).

Size small-medium. If anyone, or a goth friend of yours, is interested, it's free, you just need to pick it up in Watertown MA. Sorry, local pick up only.

Hello! Penelope Waite Westcott...

Oh! no, there was no offense taken...please believe me (Which I  usually, always say in order to express my sincerity.)  I agree with you, that the story about  the two young victims being attacked because they were dressed in goth apparel shouldn't have been diminish in anyway, shape or form.

Therefore, it's I who once again, apologize for that oversight...which I feel in no way can even be considered slight...Thanks, for pointing my "oversight"  out and your comment too!

So sorry, Mlle deedee gauzot,

I did not mean to offend.  I was trying to say that your message was appropriate to the page, wishing to support your posting of it.

And your question is a chilling one...What sort of person could do such a thing to another person... particularly only because of their manner of dress?

Hello! Penelope Waite Westcott...

I have removed my editorial and have re-posted the comment minus my own personal feelings.
