The Hunt Museum in Limerick has an Steampunk exhibition launching in October and it's open to all!

Steampunk objects were created by students at the University of Limerick based on objects in our collection and from October 11th, they'll be residing steampunkily beside the original (and somewhat ancient) objects on which they were based!

The exhibition launches at 4pm on Tuesday 11th October and is free and open to all. If you'd like more information on the exhibition or visiting The Hunt, we'll be happy to help you out - just email us at!

Good day my fellow Steam friends! I'm Irish by blood, storytelling, and music. Having traversed the beautiful green isle once before, I've the need to go again! Only this time I do believe I will strap on my violin and penny whistle. One never knows when a story might need telling, or an extra musician desired!

Not sure if that's a reference to my costume or my descision about his herritage. But,as I said, I AM still doing the research.

If you're indicating I might offend someone, don't worry. I am taking every step to make sure that doesn't happen and that my depiction is as respectfully accurate as possible, while at the same time keeping the Steampunk twist.

Besides, there are a lot of complexities to my characters history than his Traveller upbringing. You'll see what I mean.

Well, thats part of the FUN, Piotr.

I mean, who wants a character WITHOUT the potential to 'go awry'? LOL
