The Pickled Brothers will be performing their Victorian Circus act at this event! Come on out and say hello. We'll also be at individual libraries around Lexington for the "One Book, One Bluegrass" event throughout April. You can check our website for dates/times:

For those who live in the Lexington area, on April 20 the Lexington Public Library is hosting a "Night Circus Gala".  The theme comes from the novel "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern.  Morgenstern and GD Falkson have been announced as special guests for the event.

Victorian/Steampunk or book character related clothing is requested for the event.

Probably should be peace bonded so it can't be removed from the scabbard by anyone else but you.  I'd check with Claude when you get there; he's the man

Well I can't access the link to Facebook beacuse I don't have a Facebook page but the reason I was asking about the weapons was beacuse I have a katana that was steamed out for me and customized with a English rapier hilt but its a real katan made for display purposes it can't hurt anyone

Con starts "offcially" at 5 PM on Friday afternoon and closes at noon on Sunday.  The normal parties on Friday & Saturday night.  Prop weapons should be clearly that.  If you have any questions that need details from the "official" source, contact Claude Miles, who is listed on the FB page that I added below.
