Words and birds, both take flight in our imagination

The literary aerie is a virtual nest in which to roost, glean, and collectively gather. So we will hopefully amass here, an intended ‘parliamentary sanctuary’ to croak and draw on particular or peculiar birds that have appeared, spoke, or are a flit within or abound in various writ poems and tales. Many a fantastical winding write has been a stirred of a plumaged bite or flight from Gilgamesh to Hans Christian Andersen's bejeweled clockwork bird in “The Nightingale”. This ‘last’ story is our uncommon bird of a, (hammered), feather which is made of an a esteemed flock, and their created machination extends beyond, (yet is a part), their natural or supernatural winged fathers, brothers, sisters, or mothers.

Therefore as this is an expansive realm, this word birder, wishes to account their preening kind communally, considering them of course, bound, (or unwound), in their fantastic literary condition. Of allowance then, we will preternaturally propend, and look to wondrous tales, mythological fields may be mined, or other far-fetched lines, with a special gear turned toward their incredible science fictive flightier design.

This a flown penned formation and may include references of their earthly sort to disclose details as to their worded kind. One could explore the air, as it was, from the first return, the transmission of a tale sung is that what fell from the beak of a little bird. As with all formations there are auguries that signaled its shape, one to mention especially is the book, Birds in literature by Leonard Lutwack (and isn’t that name a squawk!)

Words and birds, both take flight in our imagination,

To all the diversely devoted readers roosted around the Literary aerie it is hoped that each are enjoying a pleasant holiday with their respective volumes or particular reading articles. For those who have awaited the promised review of the odd output to be proposed as issuing from "steampunks" and their surrounding scribes in the 1980's, 90's, and foretold millennium from this slow crow, that prolonged relation is being wrapped up and is planned to be posted here soon.
