I am delighted to announce that Art House Picture Frames will be hosting Eli August in Portland Maine on Saturday, September 22nd. There is no cover charge for this event, but donations are greatly appreciated.

I was thinking a seaside gathering/Victorian picnic could be much fun and a way to get together. Bug Light in South Portland is a very Victorian lighthouse with a large field. Alternatively, Fort William's has tables, forts, walking paths and a playground with those of us with children. Any thoughts?

Work dragged me in at the last minute, I'm dreadfully sorry about that.  However, Saturday's are still the best day for me, so let's try this again and not get discouraged folks.

Wandered the ponds area several times, checked other parts of the cemetery, found no one Steampunk-ish.  I vote for Deering Oaks next time.  Less ground to cover and easier landmarks.

So I've wandered the duck pond at the cemetary twice now. Where is everyone? I have a cane and a fez.

Gah!! Turns out I shall be unavailable tonight after all. Perhaps we can arrange another meetup of sorts sometime in the next week or two at Deering oaks park?

I'm so glad that some of you are coming today. I'm also sad that some of you can't, hopefully we can meet another time so you may come. Just to make clear the meeting place is Evergreen cemetery in Portland, at 4:00 p.m. As for clothing I am just coming from work so I will be in my work clothes, so dress is up to you. Hope to see you all soon.
