Please pardon the minor grammatical error at the bottom but this message is far to lengthy to re-write.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Good Afternoon,

I'm Robert Slove, A few of you may know me from "New York Steampunk Artists and Enthusiasts" as well as "The New York Nineteenth Century Society".

I can see by the "Discussion Forum" that a few of you as well as myself are interested in the "Steampunk" scene but are finding that there are far to few events and gatherings to actually attend then we would like, so I figured I would take the initiative.

As a member of the "New York Nineteenth Century Society"  I am attempting to put together a "Book and Brunch" event, I'm still working on a selection for the book but I picked out an excellent location in Manhattan and then it occurred to me, why not use this locale as a place for those of us in the five boroughs to get together and discuss plans for our own events!.

I know it's tough to meet new people in the city, it can be downright discouraging but with a little effort I think we can put together a little organization that can turn into the sort of thing we're all lookin' for.

So, I propose we all get together at "Pete's Tavern"  at 129 E.18th. st., N.Y.C.on the last Friday or Sunday afternoon of the month, whichever is better for the majority, hopefully I'll hear from more than a few of you and maybe we get have our first meet-up by the end of October.

I can be reached on this site, I'm on "Facebook" as Robert Slove or at "".

Have a great afternoon and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
