I was thinking about your statement on Japanese  steam punk  and I thought as the cultural revolution happened in the electric age it would make sense that eventually the Japanese culture  industrialized in the age of electric so to what probably happened in the cross universe of steam so to speak I'm curious how you would poll a traditional Japanese rooted culture with steam punk  aesthetics  if you could give a little detailed description of how you view the culture  I would be most interested thank you very much for your time and hope all goes well mere boiler never explored.

Hajimemashite, Donna Pedaci, nice to meet someone else that's local that wants to do Japanese Steampunk!  I'm new here as well, (should probably log on more often (>_<)' ) and I'm also very interested in it.  If I could go, I would, even with no garb.

I'm going to Penguicon in Detroit that weekend. Actually I'm trying to get some people together to do a more coordinated SP track at it.

There are going to be five Steampunk panels, with two that specifically state they are presented by Airship Archon--there is no schedule up yet, just panel descriptions.

myself, my wife,my brother and 3 of our friends will be heading to ohayocon and are planning on heading down to the symposium as well in April.

Airship Archon is always a huge presence. I'm sure they'll have more than one panel. Though last year is hard to go by, as Steampunk was the theme. I'm not sure if I'll be wearing steampunk or not this year. I'm going with a FMA group.

Curious if anyone is going to the Symposium come April. I'd like to go, but not alone.
