This Summer I will be moving from Texas to back to Idaho, where I am from. I would very much like to be notified of any events happening in the Northwest, so that I may be able to attend them! Look forward to meeting some of you eventually.

Alas, Steamcon! Thank you Steamcon organizers for all you have done over the years. What fabulous events you helped create. I will miss you, and I truly hope you are able to rise from the ashes someday.

Having said all that, The Brass Screw Confederacy is having their festival in Port Townsend, Washington June 6-8 this year. We are gearing up to be bigger and wackier than ever. I hope you will pencil us in on your calendars for a steamin' good time!

By the by - if you want SteamCon to happen this year, we need to have 250 paid memberships by the middle of March.  If you plan on going, buy your membership now!

Anyone interested in Steampunk Style as street wear should click over to our group Everyday Steampunk.  I started this group as a result of the panel on everyday steampunk at SteamCon.

Bremerton, WA, wandering alone in this strange time, seeking to assist Godzilla in his documentation of human endeavors over the continuum so that he can determine whether or not the stomping of Tokyo is a good idea!
