This was absolutely THE premier event at Steamcon! I spent hours of enjoyment at the Cabaret, and returned home with a fistful of new CDs. All of the acts, without exception, were top-notch. At any other venue I would expect to pay at least $25 to see a line up of such talent for an evening, and the Cabaret performances were absolutely FREE! Unbelievable! I don't know how Mr. Bodewell does it. Performers that stand out in my mind were The Gypsy Nomads, Veronique Chevalier, Eliza Rickman, and the awesome Curtis Ellers, not to be missed! And of course there was the lovely Miss Mamie Lavona the Exotic Mulatta and her White Boy Band, who had the cabaret patrons up on their feet and dancing all evening long! Kudos to you, Mr. Bodewell, well done! I hope that should you ever take your show on the road, you will make a stop in the Rose City- until then, I look forward to attending your Cabaret at next year's Steamcon!
