Greetings Fellow followers of the crafts. For anyone near tacoma the scene there has been getting stedily bigger. A steampunk tea shop/vapory lounge opened up recently in downtown tacoma and a gothic and a bdsm store started selling steampunk related items.

Hey everyone! I ve produced this Silent Film. It's a modern Steampunk film - "The Steampunk Queen of the Silent Age" . We are trying to make 11 more 30 min episodes. We have a pilot for your viewing enjoyment. Please if you can take a look at our indiegogo and possibly share.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am new to this group and new to steampunk and would like to know if there is an active group in the Olympia area, and if there is a discussion somewhere where a newby like me could get help with character and fashion development, cheer and support other newbies, and cry in frustration in each others tea as necessary. Honored to join you all.

Hi ya'll,

For any of you who reside in the Seattle area I would like to extend to you an invitation to a class I am giving on two consecutive Wednesdays at Otherworlds in Edmonds.  This is a class on painting shoes and bags.  The class costs $45 and includes a kit of paints and brushes, enough to cover nine pairs of shoes or about three handbags. This is a workshop class so you will go home with your altered shoes and everything you need to turn those drab black pumps into some Steampunk fabulous awesomeness.  Please check out Otherworlds on facebook to register.  The class starts this Wednesday evening.

Hi ya'll! My name is Cherries Jubilee and I currently reside in Seattle in the great state of Washington.  I recently attended SteamCon in Bellevue and presented a workshop on Braving the Ballroom.  I also taught a very popular cross step waltz class.

I attended GearCon this year and taught the waltz there as well.  There is yet another great Steampunk event on the horizon.  The Steampunk Exhibition Ball will be held on March 9th this year at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle.  Please join me in the ballroom, between concerts and burlesques.  We usually have a great time.
