Welcome to the SCARS page on the Steampunk Empire (SPE)

Some of you may like this format better than Facebook. Several discussion threads can be going at once which we hope will encourage more interaction. This is in addition to the Group Comment Wall below.

Events and such should probably posted both here and on FB.

A discussion will be set up called Marketplace for buying, selling & trading. As everyone has read in the SPE guidelines, spamming is frowned upon. Two examples of this are when sellers post the same ad on multiple Group pages or send out mass mailings.

We will also set up a closed discussion page for story lines to help folks get caught up for LARPing events.

There will be one RP Room for starters. If we need more rooms, or anything else, please feel free to ask.

I live in Louisiana and I am brand new to steampunk in general and hoping to find friends and some guidence. I would love to do a female impression. When I do go in femme mode I am passable and try to do a respectful impression in general so as not to draw attention to myself or anyone else. I have just started in this and need advice from ground up. Are trans women acceptable at all?? Vendors for clothes and such, even help with names. I have ideas but would rather get a experienced viewpoint on it for sure. Thanks
