My Pleasure, Sir. It is a fine place, run by Fine and Ernest Folk

I have never been to that venue, though truly Danielson is not far away.

Thank you Major

Sadly, a short while ago I learned that a gift and tea shop at 423 Hope St. in Bristol, RI called Revival/Tea at the Belvedere, is closing, due to the owner having an illness. I'm not exactly sure when it'll be closing, but hopefully, if anyone is interested in shopping and having tea there before it closes, would do so soon. Here's the website: http://www.revivalbristolri.com/

My fellow SCNE steamers...I have been called away to the opposite coast and will miss our gathering in Pawtucket. My deepest regrets! Hope a wonderful time will be had by all. Yours ~ Rey

Our preparations for the Picnic/Samfest proceed apace.
Trailer being gradually loaded, car being prepped, outfits to be decided on.

FORWARD TO THE PAST!

During the month of September every year the City of Pawtucket RI celebrates the arts with a series of festivals and events. The Pawtucket Arts Festival kicks off with the opening Party Friday night September 5th. Between then and September 28th there will be almost 30 events large and small with activities and festivals somewhere every weekend. On that opening weekend SAM Fest will be happening this year at Slater Mill on the Museum grounds with a combination of maker, history, and steampunk inspired venues. The evening of the 6th the SAM Steampunk Soiree will start at 7pm. During the afternoon from 2pm to 8pm the Red Fork Empire Embassy To Steampunk will be presented by the DAWN At The Grant Gallery and The Black Topper Society, both groups affiliated with DAWN Southern New England. Great thanks to the Emperor for his assistance in this en-devour.
