Slainte' folks. I had an idea and wondered how you folks my feel about it. Have any of you attended a zombie walk? There is one in Lynchburg and in Richmond in mid to late October. As time travellers and as people who occasionally like a bit of the undead in our steampunk, I was wondering how you folks might feel about attending. I know various groups of Toy Soldiers have gone in the past. Thoughts?

I think the Facebook page is an excellent start, I hope to make it to at least one of the conventions this spring, probably the one in Roanoke.

I invited everybody I could find that had Lynchburg listed as their location. I have several friends that are into steampunk but they never joined the empire. If i remember correctly there is a convention in Roanoke in April and one in Greensboro in march. Either of those would be the perfect place to recruit people.

It would appear so sir, I was hoping some of the others would make an appearance if they saw some activity going on. Being creator of this group, do you have any way to contact any of the other members besides the group page? As for more involvement we might have to think about old schooling it - some flyers at different places - Baines in Appomattox, maybe White Hart; maybe some info on Craigslist? You would think with all the historical interests around town there should be some people who would be interested. Maybe it is hard to find the Empires website, I myself kind of stumbled upon looking for something else.
