Permalink Reply by Ulrike Clevenger on March 24, 2013 at 9:16pm I am new to steampunk, but not to sewing, and I have never had a dress form. With the tight fitting clothes I can see where it would be handy to use one. Any recommendations what to get and where to buy? Also, is there a thread with pattern/fashion recommendations? Congrats on your new form and pinhole-less state.

I bought my dress form from Joannes fabric...standard style... it was about $100 on sale.
Welcome!

Permalink Reply by Professor Argon Bats on April 22, 2011 at 12:26pm Cool! Ship hats can be wonderfully whimsical... I really like this one, (yes, I know, it's "goth" more than steampunk), I think it's quite well done.
Haha just realized this post is 2 years old... Oh well.
No problem, age is a totally irrelevant concept.
I loved your link! Thanks
