I am planning a big event in November.  If you have promotional materials to send out, I'd be happy to advertise the foundation?

Thank you very much Hannah, All support is appreciated by us, we need as much of it as we can get.

Rachel Harrison, our Chief, will post bulletins when we have news. We currently have two projects that we have given grants for, so we should be seeing some results soon.

As you will have gathered, the Foundations principle run on a much better system compared to that of Kickstarters. Something that I hope alot of steampunkers will come to understand over time.

Hallo!  I am the sweetly feminine side of the Professor Algernon League ( and am interested in seeing what other creative steampunks are up to.  We attempted a Kickstarter project, but it failed miserable, probably because we are fairly unknown at this point.  We am interested in the guidelines of this lovely foundation and, upon our success, we will most certainly contribute to its ongoing support of this unique population of starving artists.

A huge Thank You to Draven Kane for his participation in a Charity Poker Tournament where the Foundation was the beneficiary! He has worn his voice out talking to people about our group and the proceeds of the tournament, just over $200.00 US will become available to grant applicants so please apply!

It has come to the attention of the board, that some users are under the impression the the Foundation is a scam.

I would like to express that we have produced our first grant for funds to a user that submitted an application. The lady in question was granted $75 and we shall be keeping you all upto date on progress of the project.

I trust this will settle any opinion that we are not con-artists....and this is a legit charity which Steampunks interests at heart!

I am no longer going to attend WSE... I do hope someone else will be able to represent the Foundation there.

I still plan on attending both Wichita, Kansas events, the AnimeCon and Emerald City Steampunk Expo, and I will keep the group up to date on other events where I might be able to represent them.  SteamCon is a definite, and there may be more.
