There's a new doll about to be released in the 'Monster High school' toys and she is VERY steampunk. When I get more info I'll let you know.

I am in desperate need of assistance.  I am working on the plans for a very very cool project. It is of course a closely guarded secret and will be unveiled here and at Austin's Clockwork Con in January of 2013.  The assist I require is in the procurement of a set of figures. I need a man and a woman in period clothing to be in what I am creating.  Their outfits will be along the lines of an adventurous explorer/ aviator/ airship captain/ motorist and hers is to be similar and of the Lady Mechanika style, less Victorian, more Neo. I beseech you all for your input and ideas and any help will be thanked for all eternity.  The maximum height of the figures should be no more than 12 inches.

I look forward to hearing from everyone.

How did I miss the fact that you also had BJDs? I'll be looking for one at Ohayocon this weekend specifically for the purpose of doing some steampunk loveliness with it (as those I already have don't lend themselves so readily to the look. One's too mod, one's too fae and the other is so tiny she's nearly impossible to sew for anyway).

Hi, I just joined. Seeing those hats has given me some ideas. I have tons of scrap brass from the making of my wonder woman and aailor moon tiaras. That feather looks really interesting. I'm going to try to make some. Off topic, but wouldnt it be great of Re-ment did a Steampunk set? They havent put out a great set in a while. I've been working on transforming vinyl dolls into andriods lately. Oh there just arent enough hours in a day to create all we invision!

Adorable hats! Such a shame there may not be more to come. I've never seen anything like them.

Thank you Addie.  Probably he will not make any more of these.  Its a shame, but they were a one time deal.  These sold pretty fast I believe.

Ooh, I adore the metal hats! Any chance of buying one? Addie owns several versions of your mom's chapeaus.

Hi, thought it would be fun to put up a picture of a couple hats.  They are made of brass, and my father made them.  My mother makes doll hats, so he was just messing around with things.  As you can see, he is a real artisan(as is she).

I just really liked these and thought I would share them.

For anyone setting up period scenes; I just noticed that the American Girl "Rebecca's phonograph" is on sale today.

Its a classic little Victrola that fits dolls in the 18" range. My daughter has one and it is cute.  It goes well with our dolls and their Christmas tree
