For anyone with 18" American Girl size dolls; I just noticed Simplicity came out with a steampunk theme set of mix and match items #1392 and new Victorian girls dresses #1391

I just spotted what look like steampunk outfits and accessories on the Carpatina site for their slim 18" dolls - The pictures were tiny with a note - coming December

Just joined the group.  Been thinking about it for some time, here's why.  For some years I have working on a series of screenplays, but I haven't been able to garner much interest, and it's hard to even get people together to produce a sizzle/teaser reel to attract financing.  As an alternative I've tried to convert it into a comic book/graphic novel, but I can't draw, and artists expect to be paid up front.  So I've tried another alternative,  doing the comic strip by posing and photographing 11 1/2 inch dolls and action figures and creating the comic strip that way.  Since what I'm doing is a Horror/Western with a strong steampunk influence, naturally costumes, props, and sets are going to be my biggest problem I figure thisis  a good group to go and seek help and advice (I'm still concentrating on the screenplay, but this remains my increasingly likely "Plan B."  I'll post some of experiments in form in the coming weeks so ya'll can have a look at what I'm doing, if that's okay.
