Good day to all,
Unfortunately I am away from our home base of Boston. I have ventured to the Carribbean for modifications to my airship. I barely made it past the pirates! I encourage you all to convene in my absence should it strike your fancy. Please update me on any great activities you may engage in, as I don't want to miss out on any details. Cheers!
Dister

P.S: Feel free to make any topics suggestions.

In the long term, and while not QUITE in Boston, it isn't all that far away:
The Seventh Annual New England Steampunk Picnic...which is going to be quite different this year!
It's being combined with the Pawtucket RI Arts Festival!

Info as follows in the EVENTS section:

In the near term we have a meetup in June in Waltham: https://www.facebook.com/events/758395050872078/

That group has a meetup about once a month which travels from place to place.

In September there's this event: http://www.thesteampunkempire.com/events/7th-annual-new-engand-stea...

https://www.facebook.com/groups/NESteampunks/ is a good group to watch in general for upcoming events.

Owing to the great dearth of steampunk doings local to the MetroWest region of Massachusetts (That's the large suburban area between Rt. 128 and Worcester) I have begun the Facebook group, MetroWest Massachusetts Steampunk. I hope that this will spur steampunk activity in the region, and act to bring local enthusiasts and enquirers into participation in the larger groups such as this one.
