How it works:

1) Add a discussion (dancecard) for your name, in which you promise to make / write / draw something special for the first 5 people who ask.

2) You can then ask 5 people to make you stuff. If you don't have a lot of requests, be patient- Some of us with full dance cards would love to exchange something with you, but we're waiting until we've finished our first batch.

3) If someone asks you, you should reciprocate on their dancecard.

4) When a gift is done, message the person who asked, and get a mailing address. Mail the gift to them. ( or you can email a poem, story, song, digital art, etc ).

5) When you receive a gift, put a "thank-you" reply under your original post requesting something.

6) When you've gotten a thank-you from each recipient, let Gwen or AetherPower know and we will close that discussion.

7) After that, if you want to play again, go back to step 1 with a new discussion!

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

- What I create will be just for you.
- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
- You will receive your item before the end of the year (or sooner).
- You will have no clue what the item is going to be. It could be a story. It could be a piece of handmade jewelry or an art doll. I may draw, paint, collage or knit something. I might bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that in order to receive a gift, you have to repost this with YOUR name as the header on "start a new discussion" and make and send out five surprises of your own, so if you aren't gonna follow through and make something for five others, you get nothing from me.

It took quite a while for a 5th person to sign up with me, BTW. I suppose people are (quite understandably) ambivalent about what I might send them!
