Thanks Jesse. I saw that and am now confirmed. The timing of the announcement is fortuitous. It is exactly what I was asking for.

I just wanted to put in my two pence about this whole Steampunk in Oklahoma thing. We at Iron Rose Productions are working hard to make the scene as big and bad as we possibly can. I've personally started two entire steampunk businesses and would love to see the community grow. We are also hosting the Tulsa Steampunk Fair this year in downtown Tulsa. So, as a businessman I must urge you to come! ...but all that aside I'm glad to see things aren't dead. Lets keep it that way!...ooh and here is a link to the event page

Good evening everyone. It's a pleasure.

Just thinking (and not blaming as I have been pretty inactive for over a year now) but it seems that the OKC steampunk scene has died down and lost some momentum. I wonder it if it wouldn't be a good time for another Steam Punk Expo. A free event, open to the public and a fun day for local steampunks to show out. I'm certainly no events coordinator but I'm wondering what others thoughts might be.

Good morning to all my fellow enthusiasts here in OK! My name is Anu, and yes, as my profile pic suggests, I'm a furry. Don't hold that against me. ^^ I'm an older fur who absolutely LOVES steampunk. I love it so much, my fursona is a female (IRL also), fennec fox, airship mechanic. I'm old enough to not worry what other people think of me and I don't judge other people. I'm very friendly, fun and easygoing. I live in the OKC metro. Have a good day everyone!!

For those who might be interested, there is a steampunk social planned for Tusla in March.  It been nearly a year since we have had one, and I know not everyone can make the drive to OKC.  I created a event page here for it, as well as facebook.   There will be live music, vendors, and of coarse tea.  It is even being held at a old train station that is now a Jazz club.  MGE
