Sounds like fun...To bad I don't have any artwork ready right now.

Would anyone be interested in a steampunk art show in Pauls Valley Oklahoma? Our arts council has recently renovated the old Firehouse building and turned it into our town art center. Our first event was a great success with several artists. It would be great to have a Steampunk-dedicated art show.

If anyone's interested, Bad Granny's Thrift Store at NW 16th and Indiana in OKC has some nice vintage things for very cheap, as does hte store next door, Curiouser and Curiouser. I found a child sized vintage straw pith helmet in the Wolseley style there, a pair of chicken skin gloves dyed red, and lots of jewelry.

True, it's not. I will definitely still be keeping up with things on here

Tahlequah isn't so far away. With planning, we can still play together, Sarah.

Moving to Tahlequah! I went to school at NSU there, and met my husband and some of my very best friends there, so it has special memories. Plus some of the best little non-chain restaurants I've ever eaten at :)

That's so sad, Sarah, we will miss you. But you are moving closer to family and friends, thats always the most important thing. Where are you moving to?

It seems that I will be moving out of the metro area this month; I got a job opportunity to move closer to friends, family, and where my husband is going to school for almost the same amount of pay I was making here. I'm sad that I didn't get the chance to meet any of you in person, but it's been great talking with like-minded people here.
