I'm always looking for ways to support multicultural influence in Steampunk. Thanks Milton for posting the kickstarter campaign for STEAMPUNK WORLD.

Agreed, Mlle. Loveless. I'm big on 'never forget'. Always be aware of the reality one bends when it comes to cosplay. Doing so fuels the re-imagining and holds the true past up for justifiable scrutiny.

I agree! Although Milton is quite a handsome name...choosing a persona is sooo much fun!

Love Hari Kondabolu! Thanks for posting Anita Loveless. I was at SPWF 2013...and is was a blast in the best sense!

Milton- good point made. For me, I have no problem dealing with the realities of the true past but love the imagined future aspects of a Steam world. For instance, I love the TV show 'Defiance' not because it is an absolute truth but because it is a 'what if?'. And Hari looked fab in his Steampunk wear no matter how much he joked it. Go on with your bad self, Sherlock Homeboy!

That was a great video clip.

This popped up on Reddit. Thought it belonged here, too.

An illuminating interview with Milton Davis by PeckTec at Anachron posted today. I truly enjoyed hearing Mr. Davis explain his background in Steampunk and the birth of Steamfunk.

Just received my hard copy of Steamfunk edited by Milton Davis and Balogun Ojetade. Once I am finished reading the last novel in Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series I will proceed, tout suite, with my new addition to my steampunk library. So excited!
