Comment by Madame Pâte à Glacer on March 29, 2013 at 2:03am Just received my hard copy of Steamfunk edited by Milton Davis and Balogun Ojetade. Once I am finished reading the last novel in Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series I will proceed, tout suite, with my new addition to my steampunk library. So excited!
Comment by Madame Pâte à Glacer on March 7, 2013 at 3:01pm I hope that my name conversion does not cause undo confusion...but I wanted a Steampunk persona and after much reflection I discovered my heart-felt appellation.

Comment by Milton Davis on March 6, 2013 at 7:30am I read Falksten's article of African Empires. A good effort but still not a great understanding of African Kingdoms. I wish I'd been around when the initial conversation was taking place.

Comment by Madame Pâte à Glacer on March 4, 2013 at 7:32pm I have recently become acquainted with Steampunk and am a woman of color. I am a New Yorker, born and raised, and am looking forward to attending the Steampunk Word's Fair in May 2013. I just finished the highly entertaining novels, The Parasol Protectorate Series, by Gail Carriger and have found a new passion to pursue in literature. I look forward to reading 'Steamfunk' by Milton Davis & Balogun Ojetade.
