I did have a location pop into my head though. I'm not sure where you are located, but there is a piece of property that has a very unusual history that I pass on my way to Las Vegas.
It's about 45 min north of the Calico (SP?) Ghost Town.
This property was last used as a Water park in the 90's. It now sits creepy and abandoned right along side the 15 (frwy).
if you find it online you'll see that it's had a very interesting past.
It's due for another incarnation .
