As seen at the recent Nashua Steampunk Industrial Revolution, The adoption of evolved bellydancing is looking like a perfect match to the genre.  On the floor it looks like there is a search for a representative style in progress.

We're a renegade circus band and vaudeville dance troupe from southern Illinois (aka 'little Egypt'). We're more belly laughs than belly dance, but we're all on a mission from the goddess - if you know what we mean.

all thats required is an interest in belly dance and steampunk. not necessarily together.
