Greetings, All!

We've begun preproduction work on our genre crossover piece that features Steampunk undertones and undead overtones.  Zombies and Steampunk... it's like Bangers & Mashed. 

Here's the gig: We need a LOT of grassroots support to pull this thing off.  The script was good enough to submit to studios, but we decided to go indie on it because we wanted to control the Trilogy that follows, and not have a studio Eragon it to death.  The Trilogy is HEAVILY Steampunk.  In fact, it may make some serious waves across the aether when it's released, because it opens a whole new world for Steampunk creativity and style.  That's all I can say right now, though.

When shooting begins, we will probably need some extras and crew here in the Tampa area as well.  Any help we can get will be GREATLY appreciated.

The Tampa Bay Steampunk Society needs a logo! Here are the rules I posted on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/groups/153946984641241/

LOGO DESIGN RULES:
1. Must clearly have "Tampa Bay Steampunk Society" on it
2. Must be be in .jpeg, .TIFF or .PNG format
3. Must be as large as possible so that's not pixellated and easy to shrink down to multiple sizes.
4. Must be easily recognized as something steampunk i.e. gears, cogs, whatever
5. Must also be easily recognizable as a Florida group with some sort of iconic imagery i.e. palm tree, State of Florida outline, etc.
6. You can submit more than one design
6. MUST be submitted to me by September 30, 2011 at 11.50 P.M. at tampasteampunk@yahoo.com. Put "TBSS logo design contest" in the subject line and have your Facebook name in the body of the email. Attach the logo as an attachment.

Members will have a week to vote on designs. Give me another week to announce the winner. All participants will receive a small prize, winner will get a subscription to Doctor Fantastique's Show of Wonders steampunk magazine.
