Hi, friends!

Eduardo, who goes by Captain Quaestor, has recently taken up the mantle of the TBSS, since my career allows me limited free time. I apologize for the lapse in any communications - grad school and work were quite demanding, took me out of state for a while, and then brought me back. A previous member I had personal issues with got me banned from Facebook for a while for no legitimate reason, so I just stopped posting in the group to avoid drama.

I'm working to give Eduardo access to this group. He's been really fantastic in moving the TBSS forward with new events and workshops so that the society can once again became as active as it was in its early days.

I hope to pop in from time to time as a member, just to enjoy the many friends I've made through this community. Best wishes to you all, and look out for more activity here, as on Facebook, in the coming days and weeks.

Sadly, the TBSS group is fairly inactive now, save for a few odd posts on FB now and again. However, activities do spring up from time to time.

Just checked.  FB still lists my membership as pending.

I actually attempted to join, but never got a reply.  It still lists me as "waiting".  That's why I tried to contact the young lady (Daylina Miller) that it lists as moderator.

The Facebook page is still active, as far as I know, but to get any response from the Moderator might be a challenge. I'd suggest (if you've not done so) joining the group and then posting a casting call on the page. There are a number of steamies in Tampa/St. Pete who don't belong to TBSS or rarely check the page.

Is this still an active group?  I tried to join the facebook group but never received a reply.   (I sent a message to the group and to the person who was listed as the admin.)

So indeed, there are always things happening in Tampa Bay, where Steam is everywhere, sometimes confused with cigar smoke. . . The Endless Night Vampyre Ball at The Castle (Ybor City) promises elegance, decadence, and fangafrice. Vampire%20Ball.jpg Do join others from the Dark Side of Steam at this not-to-be-missed excursion into blood and hubba hubba. Tickets, I understand, are still available.
