The Texian Republic is always looking good personal to hold our Texian homelands  from any invader,  The Texian Republic's Texian Rangers, in Steampunk are different from the real life Texas Rangers of the Republic of Texas.In real life there are less than 200 Texas Rangers in service not including Special Rangers.  Within Steampunk and the Texian Republic the Texian Rangers stand as 38 Battalions of Rangers. Now think about the Persona play around that

Hello all from Austin.  Just joined today to try to educate myself on what's going on around Central Texas in the Steampunk genre.

I did some cosplay many years ago via the SCA, but I got tired of it when they started getting bogged down in internal politics and intrigue.

Looking forward to learning about what all is going on.

I greatly regret i received an Email this morning that the AMA-CON people do not feel that Steampunk Bellydancers are not realvant to AMA-CON and are not going to be allowed to perform. This comes as a bit of a shock after they Requested we retrun after our performance last year. of course the Airship still has it's booth for the con. However as ALL of the dancers are Ironsharks and we work very hard on our shows we are all going to be a bit crushed by this. I am thus suggesting the creatation of a 2cd Steampunk convention in Amarillo set up and Run by the Steampunk community and funded by kickstarter and run by steampunks for steampunks.-- Navigator Faolonhawk
