Evening all. This next Friday, 9 January to be precise, I will be in attendance of a gothic/steampunk ball. I plan to capture as many imagines as is allowed and shall post them here if it is permitted. I hope you all continue to engage in dark adventure this new year, be safe of course, and be good. But if you can't be good... well then.

I thought this add photo for The Mighty Squirm was absolutely terrific.

I learned about these clothing designers and a bunch of others through the blogs on Sourpuss Clothing. I wouldn't categorize most of what Sourpuss sells as Gothic, and really none of it is Victorian. But this one photo was great and it was fun to read about the designers.

This is a runway photo from the Anne Demeulemeester Spring/Summer show 2014.

Sure it's not goth per se, but the inclusion of Gothic elements and inspiration from the subculture are undeniable.
