League of Extraordinary Professors luncheon

The League met on Oct. 19, 2013 at the Pullman Parlor car of the Church Street Station train at Main Street Station in Las Vegas. Dr. Phineas T. Kastle hosted the luncheon dining alfresco in the Victorian Pullman private suite under Lalique chandeliers with crab salad served on Lamoge antique service. In attendance was Dr. Tillaman, Dr. Daktar, Professor Phibius Philabuster, Prof. Chand, Lady Merriweather Fishbottom, and Dr. Mariposa. After elevenses, Dr. Kastle gave his welcome to his esteemed colleagues. Dr. Mariposa gave the afternoon lecture on "quantum mechanics and the spatial relativity of folding time in Time Travel". Prof. Chand lead a closing meditation.

Well, at the risk of being overscrupulous myself, I think a new opportunity for a pedantic Professor of Eugenics has just opened up! Read it in some newspaper or other. ;)

For more than one hundred years, the Museum has displayed and interpreted the best examples of fine and decorative art, representing a broad range of world cultures of the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Museum admission is $3, Seniors & Students are $2.

There is parking available

And then you can retire with us after 4 to the Harp & Dragon Irish Pub, only a mile down the street.
