The Steampunk Empire

The Crossroads of the Aether

The Pirate Ship Unstable

A gathering of Columbus-based Steampunks, but open to others worldwide, the Pirate Ship Unstable is an unsteady zepplin with eclectic occupants that flies predominantly in Irish airspace, plundering any English vessel that crosses our path. Our engine might be held together with yarn and our flag is a patchwork, but we have plenty of tea and there be shine in our hold!

Well, a real weapons master would be most welcome--Aisling and I are most likely to bash attackers over the head with parasols in the heat of battle.

AirMarshal is the donned title of one I've been given, many leaders and rulers have given me others, bastard being one I hear most often referred to. My services, albeit military, are available to anyone who can pay for them. I serve no flag, nor master. My loyalty resides in the coin, my airship, and my crewe. I had searched you and your crewe out for the purpose of keeping me in my druthers as in the lifestyle I've become accustomed. So, I need to, from time to time, to arrange and drum up attacks on air shipping routes and the like to ensure that I stay in gainful employ. Most dastardly yours, AirMarshal Cain.

Aren't air marshals supposed to PREVENT us from doing things like raiding and pillaging? :)

But all are welcome, nonetheless!

Would an AirMarshal sailing alongside the Captain on the bridge be acceptable? I am always on the lookout for fellow miscreants, mercenaries, privateers, profiteers, malfeasance performing dutiful officers who appreciate the value and loyalty of the coin.

Greetings, all!  I'm a fan of Steampunk but have yet to partake of any salons or other meetings.  I look forward to more interaction!
