Does anyone else know any steampunk kids' books?  I'm a teacher (not a parent yet) in Singapore and would be thrilled to have other titles to show my kids.  (I'm also a steampunk kids' book author secretly doing research on the crafty competition.  But mainly I just love kids' books.)

I would love to get coal for Christmas.

All my steam powered inventions are fueled by the dark substance!

Merry Christmas everybody!

Season's greetings, and a hearty "BAH!  HUMBUG!" to those deserving it.
A local business has recently closed, and one seasonal item they always carried was small bags of coal for 'gifts'.

Here's hoping no one gets any this year!

That is a very good link, Lorelei.  Seldom do you find a well-written article of only a page that manages to cover the history of steampunk, but also having some excellent recommendations, both new and old.  I would suggest this link to somebody who read main-stream SF but didn't quite get the steampunk genre.
